أهلا يا رمضان طال الشوق بنا والآن We've been longing for a long time قد آن الأوان and now it's time ان تسعدنا يا رمضان To make us happy, Ramadan ها قد زيننا المكان Here we have decorated the places بالنور والألوان With light and colors ومُصلانا والقرآن As well as the places of prayer and the Qur’an يا بشرانا بالهلال Oh our pleasure of the crescent بالنور والجمال With light and beauty اقبل يا شهر الغفران Come to us, month of forgiveness بالبركات والإيمان With blessings and faith والحب والسلام love and peace جئت لتحيينا رمضان You came to revive our spirit, oh Ramadan للمغرب روح ونسائم The Maghreb time has a spirit and breezes نتسابق من يفطر صائم We compete who gives breakfast to fasting people تهفوا مسامعنا والقلب - With passion our ears and heart listen لتعانق صوت الآذان To embrace with love the sound of the call to prayer (ATHAN) يتجلى وقت الإفطار The breakfast time comes والحب بأرجاء الدار And love fills the house نتجمع حول المائدة We gather around the table والأذكار بكل لسان And the (AZKAR) is uttered by every tongue أهلا أهلا يا رمضان Welcome Ramadan .............................. طال الشوق بنا والآن قد آن الآن الأوان ان تسعدنا يا رمضان ها قد زيننا المكان بالنور والألوان ومُصلانا والقرآن ومآذن بالنور تلالت The minarets of the mosques shined with light وبضيف الرحمن تعالت And went high with the guests of the Most Merciful (Allah) لتعانق بالحب هلالاً To embrace with love the crescent ويعانقها بالعنان And the crescent embraces them in the highness وصلاة التراويح تروح and the Traweeh prayer removes هماً داخلنا وتلوح Sadness from inside and fills us بحنين دفئ وشعور With nostalgia, warmth and feeling يسموا بنا فوق المكان prevail all over the place أهلا أهلا يا رمضان
